We’ll determine which areas of your lawn and landscape are in good condition, and those that could be improved. Our horticultural, lawn agronomic and masonry expertise produce the most attractive results for all areas of your landscape.
- Clean-Up
Spring (April/May) Clean all shrub and garden beds of weeds, leaves, sticks and debris. Prune winter damage off shrubs. Line trim grass edges along walks, driveway, walls and patio. Feed shrubs with a balanced fertilizer (10-10-10) and cultivate soil to blend, and apply Preen weed prevention to all cleaned shrub and garden beds. Remove and dispose of limbs and branches from lawn. De-thatch or aerate lawn areas.
- Shrub Bed Mulching
Remove weeds, install spaded edge, clean up and dispose of debris. Apply pre-emergent weed control, and install and spread pine bark mulch.
- Weekly Lawn Maintenance
25 to 30 service visits, from mid April to mid November, including mowing, trimming where the mower will not reach, and blowing off walks, patio areas and driveway. Grass clippings removed when required at an additional charge.
- Shrub Beds Maintenance
As required; recommended budget: 3 – 5 service visits per year.
- Lawn Nutrient Program State Licensed Applicator
Two spring and two fall applications of balanced, controlled release fertilizer. Weed, insect and crabgrass controls are applied at proper times during the season.
- Lawn Lime Application / Lawn Soil Test
Lime applied once annually during the early fall season; treatment adjusts acidic soil, for better fertilizer results. Soil test every other year determines amount of lime to apply.
- Lawn Grub Control Application
Annually; preventative or curative.
- Lawn Renovation
Procedure includes installing top soil where needed to smooth lawn grade, aerate lawn, apply improved varieties of lawn seed and starter fertilizer, and power rake lawn areas to blend components. Lawn seed mix includes varieties that are drought, insect, and disease resistant.
- Trim Shrubs - Prune Trees July / August State Licensed Arborist
Well trained experts with years of experience, know what plants to trim and limbs to prune, and what plants should grow naturally. We know what to do, when to do it and how; including clean up and disposal.
- Clean-Up
Fall (November/December) Rake, blow and remove leaves from all lawn areas. Cut and bag all lawn areas for the final time of the season. Rake and remove leaves from shrub and garden beds. Remove and dispose of annuals from garden beds and flower pots. Cut back select perennials.
- Flowers Installation
Design and install annuals, perennials, or bulbs display. Maintenance service of new plantings available upon request.
